Chance with Pottery
Our hope is to connect the society with Yuan Ze University in Taoyuan through the chance of getting to know the art of pottery. It is the combination of water’s gentleness and the clay’s resilience that turns the pottery into graceful artworks. Jen Yao, Lee’s hometown, Miaoli, is the soil where his touching artworks have been produced by persisting through the end without ever quitting. Although pottery is a traditional artistry, it is found sparkling with a new and refreshing approach to innovate it. As a result, the works filled with creative thoughts and new feelings touch the heart of the audience even more deeply. The small mouth vase with fluid contour, simple glaze and slim shape brings on the low pitched but sumptuous aesthetic perception, which tells that the artist has poured his true feeling into works and shown his animated life and affection to the land. |
